Joseph Di Carlo is Director of Human Resources at WESTMED Practice Partners. In this role, he leads the organization’s human resources and organizational development and learning functions. His primary focus is to provide human resources counsel, which is aligned with the company’s mission, vision and goals. Mr. Di Carlo is responsible for the identification and recruitment of top talent, retention, professional development, benefits and compensation administration, and human capital programming and policies. His efforts help to position the organization to be continuously viewed as an employer-of-choice within the industry and our community.
Mr. Di Carlo received his bachelor’s degree and MBA from Alfred University, where he was selected to Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society. Additionally, he holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation with the Human Resources Certification Institute.
Mr. Di Carlo began his career in human services and benefits client service consulting with Hewitt Associates and PricewaterhouseCoopers, respectively. Before coming to WESTMED in 2010, he served as vice president of human resources at Porter Novelli, Inc., a large global marketing communications company which is a subsidiary of Omnicom Group.
